As one of eleven charter members of the Northern Virginia Swimming League, Woodley Pool has an active swim team and dive team for youths ages 5-18.

The Competition Swim Team offers Woodley members the opportunity to compete against athletes from other Northern Virginia pools.
We have swimmers who swim year-round and others are summer only, providing opportunities for swimmers of all abilities to have fun in a competitive environment.
As a member of the swim team, your child will learn to swim all four competitive strokes, and compete in weekly "A" and "B" swim meets.

The Mini Warrior developmental program provides a bridge between basic swim lessons and competitive training.
Mini Warriors is geared toward children 5 - 8 years old who are able to meet our Basic Skills Assessment criteria but not ready to swim the entire length of the pool. It is not a replacement for swim lessons.

The Dive Team competes with other similar-ranked teams in the Northern Virginia area. Team members learn to dive safely off the board and will learn the appropriate dives for their age level with experienced dive coaches.
